MS Dhoni & ICC Cricket World Cup 2019

World Cup 2019

MS Dhoni Cricket is not just a game, it’s a religion in India. Cricket unites us better than any religion can ever do in this secular country. We just need an excuse to celebrate, remember the epic party that followed after winning the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011. People forget caste, places, and their religion and celebrate that win with each other.

India won the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 after 28 years with the skipper hitting the winning run with a six in his own style, which is done by none other than MS Dhoni, promoting himself up in the batting order and played an inning of his life 91* of just 79 deliveries. At present, all cricket teams have started to shape their teams for ICC World Cup 2019. Indian Team looks balance in all aspects batting, bowling, fielding and most important internal team tuning. This team is a mixture of youth & experience, aggression & stability, zeal & passion, strategy & co-ordination. If we discuss all these MS Dhoni become more important than ever. MS Dhoni scored 548 runs at an average of 91.33 in just 18 ODIs, since stepping down as captain in January 2017, which is second highest in the current Indian squad. He becomes first wicket keeper to achieve a magical figure of 100 stumping in his 301th ODI.

He is the best wicket keeper batsman. He has taken India with the bat as well as some superb catches, stumping, run outs and proved his utility behind the stumps during his career. Even, Indian Cricket team’s head coach Ravi Shastri has said given MS Dhoni’s current form and fitness he is sure to be in the Indian squad for World Cup 2019. So, we hope and wish he will be in the final Indian squad for ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 India exit the world cup in semifinals with a 95 run loss to host’s Australia at SCG. It ends a run of eight matches in a row without a loss in the tournament. India played like a defending champion under the captaincy of MS Dhoni.

ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 will be hosted by England from 30th May to 15th July 2019. The format of the tournament will be a single group of 10 teams, with each team playing the other nine teams and the four teams progressing to a knockout stage of semi-finals and a final. Most possible that this World Cup will be last world cup of MS Dhoni because he will complete his 38th Birthday during this world cup and we expect & wish that Team India win the world cup for him and that will be a perfect birthday gift to MS Dhoni. Indian Team recreate the magic & repeat the history of winning World Cup in 2011.
